Boarding

Your pet's home away from home.

4/21/23

We have been notified of a prevalence of canine influenza in the Southern Pines area of NC. This is a very contagious respiratory pathogen of dogs that is easily spread in boarding facilities, dog parks, groomers or anywhere dogs congregate.

Due to this, we are now making the canine influenza vaccine mandatory for all dogs coming into our boarding facility. This is a 2 shot booster series initially, followed by a yearly booster if needed for boarding.

However, the flu vaccine is also on back order due to outbreaks throughout the country. Therefore, we will only be vaccinating dogs that will be boarding within the next 4-6 weeks.

We also ask if your dog is showing any signs of coughing, sneezing, nasal or eye discharge, lethargy, or inappetence please seek vet care and do not plan to board them.

If you have any questions or concerns or if you plan to board soon and need this vaccine please do not hesitate to call us at 919-775-7945

Thank you all for your understanding and helping keep all of our fur babies happy and healthy!
